Mars Space X Air Camper Trailer: Self-inflates in 3-minutes

Mars Campers aimed for integrity, not numbers

Operating out of Australia since 2006, Mars Campers started as most camper companies do, with humble beginnings importing, as they say, "cookie-cutter products."

They never sold a single camper from that original batch and instead transitioned to wholly Australian-crafted campers. They aimed for integrity, not numbers, which they believe helped set them apart at the time. They now ask, "How can we make the best product we can?"

Space X Air, Australia’s first auto-inflating camper

One of their most recent successes is the SpaceX Air, which they claim is Australia's first "auto-opening, auto-inflating, and auto-stabilizing dual-fold camper." To operate it, simply push a few buttons at the dedicated control panel and wait while the camper does nearly all the work for you.

So, you can focus on other elements of camp or just relax. Once you're all set up, you can catch a bite to eat with the exterior slide-out kitchen space, complete with a pantry, countertop, three-burner stove, and a sink. An LED light allows you to prep at night, and the main fridge/freezer slides out to the left of the entranceway.

Space X Air accommodates four adults and two children

Inside, you'll see the double beds at each end of the Space X Air camper. In addition, the dinette just to the right of the entryway converts into a bed. Mars Campers says the Space X Air accommodates four adults and two children.

However, the wraparound sofa accommodates up to eight, so the whole family and some can enjoy a weekend out. Although the interior doesn't have a proper kitchen layout, it does have a five-gallon fridge for some convenient refreshments. While it lacks a bathroom, it has a standard toilet.

As for entertainment, the Space X Air comes with indoor and outdoor speakers, a twenty-four-inch LED TV with an outdoor mounting bracket, and a touchscreen DVD player.

In terms of power, you're looking at two one-hundred Amp hour batteries with a one-thousand-Watt inverter and a thirty Amp charger with options for two-hundred Watts of solar. If you'd like to pick one of these up for yourself, they are just under $30,000.
