Mobile Workspace is a nomadic office Campervan for two

The Nomadic Office Campervan is a conversion of the Peugeot Boxer

For the last decade, the multidisciplinary creative studio Atelier JMCA has been managing and creating new projects from architecture, scenography, and design.

Architecture Studio features many machines and tools from carpentry to a digital fabrication laboratory to help with the creative process.

Like everyone impacted by the covid pandemic, perhaps they decided to make a remote workers’ dream escape without missing out on some work.

The Nomadic Office Campervan is a conversion of the Peugeot Boxer to act as a mobile workspace for up to two people.

The inside is where a lot of the magic happens

Thanks to the workshop with various tools, Atelier JMCA had a 3D scan of the entire vehicle so that they could create everything from the ground up with precision.

On the outside, it doesn't look like much more than a campervan, but it has a removable outer shelf for working out in the sun.

The desk or dining table can quickly be revealed

Inside this campervan is where a lot of the magic happens with oiled birch plywood and discretionary stations so you can accomplish what you need when you need to.

Use the desk or dining table by opening a board ninety degrees that can also fold to help create the bed.

While the bed is in rotation, a full-length walk-in closet also reveals itself.

The retractable system is made of six-inch thick panels, allowing you to switch between a double bed, desk, dining table, and storage.

The central area of the Nomadic Office Campervan allows matching whatever temperature you need throughout the day.

We find the kitchen and wet room at the front, just behind the seats.

To help ensure energy independence while out and about, the studio equipped the Nomadic Office with solar and heating.

Three hundred and thirty watts of solar paneling are strapped to the van's roof. At the same time, two tanks of a little more than twenty-one gallons of fresh water and wastewater are installed as well.

The inner body has a thin layer of cork and panels made of various materials to offer insulation, while a diesel heating system will keep you warm year-round.

While the Nomadic Office itself is a one-off project unavailable for sale, the chassis it utilizes, the Peugeot Boxer, is available for around sixty-two thousand dollars. If you want to make one for yourself!
