Addmotor CityPro E43 Electric Bike offers an impressive 125-Mile range

Addmotor CityPro E43 Electric Bike Review

Since 2011, Addmotor has been, as they say, designing, refining, tuning, and producing electric bikes. What is their goal?

To make the best electric bikes available. And through their years of working, they have established a tight-knit community of like-minded riders.

However significant their success though, they aren't finished, and they are constantly creating new models to showcase on their lineup.

This review will cover one model, the Addmotor CityPro E43 electric bike!

This video reviews the Addmotor CityPro E-43 EB 2.0 electric bike, an in-depth look at an affordable electric bike perfect for taking out on the town.

Citypro E43 is designed with safety in mind.

The first thing you'll notice about the Citypro E43 is the sleek low-step polygon frame that offers both strength and safety and comes in your choice of four colors cyan, rose gold, pearl white, and Neptune blue.

Speaking of safety, let's talk about those lights.

They were designed with safety in mind, and the headlights supply up to forty lumens of brightness and an effect of one hundred eighty degrees viewable by up to 650 feet.

The taillights act like your cars, offering turning signals and brake lights. The E43 also comes equipped with a horn.

Addmotor designed a central controller

An LCD screen in the center of the handlebars allows you to monitor various stats such as battery life, speed, the miles you've traveled on any given trip, et cetera.

It also lets you interact with the above-mentioned turn signal lights and the 7-step pedal assistance.

Addmotor designed a central controller that acts as the hub for all the electronics aboard this electric bike, simplifying the system for a more energy-efficient ride and reducing wear and tear.

The taillight is attached to the rear rack, which can haul up to 55 pounds of cargo, so you can take it for a grocery trip if you bring a bag you feel comfortable strapping too.

Although designed for paved roads, the 26-inch Kenda tires are capable of handling a variety of terrain as well as being anti-slip and durable.

The new battery technology offers greater control

Let's talk about power. The Citypro E43 electric bike comes equipped with the next generation EB 2.0 battery pack with twenty amp hours of energy, pushing this city stroller to around 125 miles per charge.

With the max pedal-assist mode of seven, you can expect speeds of up to 20 miles per hour with around 70 miles of range. Still, you could squeeze out more depending on terrain and rider weight. That’s close to the previously featured and 80 miles of range the dual-battery Gemini X provides.

The new battery technology offers greater control over the battery's temperature and excellent protection for the safety of the battery, so you need not worry as much about the lifeblood of your machine.

Addmotor combines it with a 500-watt brushless hub motor with its battery. Which is more resistant to heat, dissipates heat better, and displays less noise than previously.

It also has a longer life expectancy and can peak under 1000 watts.

In terms of stopping power, this electric bike has a hydraulic disc brake, effectively reducing the kinetic energy you've built up from riding and increasing braking force.

Addmotor also offers a variety of accessories to pair with your electric bike. Such as a mounted phone holder, attachable mirrors, and additional battery packs if you want to stretch out that range.

If you're interested in a Citypro E43 electric bike, Addmotor lets them go for around 1,500 dollars.

Addmotor offers a suite of bikes if you want to check those out, from cargo bikes to cruisers to all-terrain and more. You're sure to find something in their lineup that hits your mark.
